Dawned on me we have a council by election today so expect active members have been concentrating there. It was a split ward 2 labour and 1 tory. The Tory was in his 80’s and passed away. Understand he was well liked and got in with a personal vote from his electorate. Suppose starting tomorrow we will have the machines in action.

I'll probably vote Reform or English Democrats if they stand. Undecided still though. It was only towards the end where it said something like "Rishi Sunak has promised we will..." that it became apparent who it was from. Wasn't particularly blue in colour either. White background with a bit of a blue border. The one I received was pretty much black and white. The only reference to the Tories was in a tiny font tucked away in a corner. 13-06-2024, 09:52 PM in response to #53300 13-06-2024, 09:52 PM (This post was last modified: 13-06-2024, 09:53 PM by Gary Bauress.) in response to #53287
Had a Conservative leaflet which seemed rather hopeful but nothing more. Labour held seat which even with a decent boundary change favouring opposition parties won't move any ground. I doubt we'll receive any visitors.

The Angela Jenkins one with Nigel Farage, yes, Nigel Farage on the front shows just how far individual MP's are trying to disassociate themselves with the Tory leadership.
