I'm not convinced that announcing the Reform Candidate for York Central, with a special remit for sorting out the gays, constitutes an 'Emergency'.

Farage to be granted a Tory safe seat to protect the right flank threat from the Reform party.

This will not have been Rishi's call but others will have orchastrated this so they have a new leader out of the gate following the general election, hopefully (from their perspective) with a few more seats than they would have if he'd not come over from Reform.

And I wouldn’t have a remit for sorting out th gays as that stuff isn’t my concern business or interest.

Do I need to provide/vet my own security and could a couple be travellers? My birth mum was the ward councillor for the Progressive party a few years back and the bloke who would be my grandad was tory mayor of South Shields when I was conceived out of wedlock so there’s politics in my blood 😂 and 2 of my 3 siblings are massive right wingers, the other was a teacher so is a commie.

If so, it is highly unlikely that it would be as a Conservative, as Giles Watling * has already been re-adopted as their candidate there.
