Thank the lord for Poundland, Home Bargains and B&M. 01-05-2024, 09:32 AM in response to #43921 Mr Staffordshire Wrote: Jesus Wept. And the thing is, their biscuits are only a little bit better than Boasters. M&S are better. But it’s the name you’re buying. 01-05-2024, 09:38 AM in response to #43893 Baldman Wrote: This is why I only shop in Fortnum & Mason I do think this app is a good idea. It in theory cuts out waste and it provides bargains for those who want/need it. I know a few people on low wages who regulally get the Super market offers and it saves them a small fortune (though, they have to be flexible given you never know what you'd get). I also know some shift workers who finish work relatively late who love it because a lot of the bags become available late at night just as their shifts end. 01-05-2024, 09:50 AM in response to #43927
I'm a big advocate of the mark down aisles in my local Morrisons, last weekend I got a 7 quid sirloin for half price and the week before 15 quids worth of fillet half price, mark down coriander's a gift as you can blitz it in a food processor with water & olive oil and freeze it in a ice cube tray, half price cakes are a gift as I begrudge the amount I spend on sweet crap for the kids.
Wouldn't fancy Chinese buffet leftovers gone 11pm tho. 01-05-2024, 12:13 PM in response to #43758 01-05-2024, 12:15 PM in response to #43921 01-05-2024, 05:58 PM in response to #43949
I’m eating a full gammon shank for tea, 3 quid half price, with new spuds broccoli carrots & English mustard 😁🏴
