I'm fully qualified to the highest level, taught at apprentice level through college/site block release and have morals! I'm amazed people still use them but they can be very forceful and overbearing. They usually already have the ladders up with bits of cement flying down the roof and tales of how the ceiling will come down during the next bit of drizzle. Naturally the elderly get scared and confuse and begrudgingly agree. Imagine someone taking almost every penny your grandparents have without a flicker or regret or empathy. They're a cancer on society who contribute very little. 16-05-2024, 03:44 PM in response to #46772 ChrisVessey Wrote: I'm amazed people still use them but they can be very forceful and overbearing. I’ll be in touch via my lawyer. 16-05-2024, 03:45 PM in response to #46772 ChrisVessey Wrote: I'm amazed people still use them but they can be very forceful and overbearing. I did a flat roof last Thursday/Friday as far as it goes, an outbuilding, new wood sheet covering and grp over that, safe to walk on, doesn't leak and drains to the gutter, my apprenticeship was in mechanical fitting and turning but I've used grp plenty of times in the past and I was asked to do it by my builder friend and everyone was happy.
Would NOT want to do it for a living and wouldn't climb a cat ladder for love nor money though. Yesterday, 02:24 PM in response to #47005
Hope you used OSB3 boarding 😎
People make the mistake of using the wrong timber which soaks up the resin and six months later it starts cracking and lifting, leading to disastrous consequences! |
