The first rule of Dull Men’s Club is you should really go up the 316 and over Putney Bridge. The A3 gets snarled up around Lavendar Hill and you often hit trouble around Elephant & Castle. Having said that, if it’s clear you might b better off going round the M25 and chuck a right over the Hammersmith Flyover….. 25-05-2024, 10:39 AM in response to #47726
And I know y'all are hanging out for an update, but the 10" cabinets have been gifted 12" speakers which complicates things, but if it fit's it'll work in my book so there I go...
Loading.../photo/1 Still in the room for adjustments and fidgets stage so l;ooks a little rough but I'm not worried about that as a little resin glue & sawdust and a few coats of sandpaper after a good routing and they'll be right. 25-05-2024, 12:54 PM in response to #47723

If it's work, no, I'm using machinery spinning at up to 15 000 rpm and it demands some respect, my spindle moulder's French Cutters were 'banned' in workshops back in 1976 but is ok if you take precautions and in general I try to work to a reasonable standard. I use Cannabis the same as the next guy will take a drink, it doesn't affect my blood sugars whereas alcohol does, and as such requires more input to enjoy so I only use alcohol if I'm out as being out requires more input than being in, most things in life I do require input to balance carbs to insulin, smoking a little doobie eases that. 25-05-2024, 07:25 PM in response to #48562 Kev-YCFC Wrote: And I know y'all are hanging out for an update, but the 10" cabinets have been gifted 12" speakers which complicates things, but if it fit's it'll work in my book so there I go... Won't this result in loss of bass and more prominent mid/treble? 25-05-2024, 09:52 PM in response to #48680 04-06-2024, 12:21 PM (This post was last modified: 04-06-2024, 10:21 PM by Kev-YCFC.) in response to #48705 Loading... And for their first deployment they bore a Nigerian gent for the graveyard service, no family present so we stood in with the vicar. Trouble is my smugness level is high as I've had compliments today so my little happy bubble is smiling, until the boy brings me a bike home with a balded rear tyre, no brake fluid and an object hanging out of the ignition lock to bodge/fix as he's not had it back long after being knocked off and the insurance will twitch and it'll cost less than the excess if I do it. Speaker cabs glued up ok and have had their first sanding with 60 grit, I need a clear afternoon to do the rounding over, baffles are cut tho need a hole in and it looks like I'll have to order from china some speaker grill cloth as I can't source what I did use from th eUK right now. Edit, and the bike's not so bad, the brakes are ok and the tyre's legal and as long as he uses a link wire I've soldered up he can hot wire it to get to work, so we were very lucky there. 05-06-2024, 12:49 PM (This post was last modified: 05-06-2024, 03:51 PM by Kev-YCFC.) in response to #50946
Oh me oh my 🙂 York Cemetery want a set of my trestles 😁🙏
My jaw hurts from grinning at the moment, I thought the boss was taking the p*ss yesterday when he was stood with the cemetery manager, but no, apparently I'm to go talk to her about the price as she liked them and thought they were a great idea as they keep the coffin of the floor and remove some of the risk at grave side , so do I but it was a colleagues idea ![]() I won't make a fortune and I'll have to find time but I should oblige. 07-06-2024, 06:19 AM in response to #51326 Loading...
