Loads of tweets from Indians complaining about Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's son. Anyway, to sum up the general discussion on here ... "London seems more broken than before - should the three-term Mayor not take some responsibility for that?" "No. Cos he's wildly popular. And what do you mean by 'more broken'?" "Well, tube delays seem more frequent" "They're not" "They are - the Mayor has recently apologised for the Central Line, which has been described as 'crisis hit'" "Well, only Home County Tories complain about that. And, by the way, some provincial Northern towns only have two buses an hour" "Comments on social media would suggest it's not just Home County Tories" "What about sex offender MPs?" 07-05-2024, 12:09 PM in response to #45127 Lenny Baryea Wrote: Loads of tweets from Indians complaining about Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh's son. London isn't more broken than it was before. That is complete bollocks. 😂 If having to wait for a train once in a while is all you have to complain about, you must live an extremely sheltered life. Kahn increased his vote share because Londoners are generally happy with him. I'm sorry if that offends you but ultimately it doesn't matter, as you don't live here. 07-05-2024, 01:03 PM (This post was last modified: 07-05-2024, 01:04 PM by Lenny Baryea.) in response to #45185 Barnet Ben Wrote: London isn't more broken than it was before. I don't particularly care. I just shared my observation that London generally seems to be getting worse. (Not unlike the country in general.) That's my experience, and increasing occurrences of delayed tube trains was one - not the only - example. Hey ho. Sadiq gets a pass. That's fine. They deserve it, not least for voting against Maidenhead United's ground move. 07-05-2024, 01:09 PM in response to #45185 Barnet Ben Wrote: London isn't more broken than it was before. I think Lenny might have fallen for Susan Hall's social media posts that used American imagery to magnify the violence. Add to the constant complaints about the Met Police all being Khan's fault (even though he ousted that dick Dick). The Tories have been attacking him consistently. Tough job. I like Sadiq Khan, but a third term was always going to be difficult. Saying that, he really didn't have much competition. 07-05-2024, 01:28 PM in response to #45188 07-05-2024, 01:42 PM in response to #45195 07-05-2024, 01:46 PM in response to #45199 DesCartes Wrote: It's not as though Woking FC's ambitious plans for a major redevelopment of the existing ground were turned down by a Tory-led local administration. Crikey. Yep. The Lib Dems pandered to the NIMBYs and vowed to "protect every inch of remaining open space". They've since expressed support for some outdoor Padel Tennis courts on an adjacent site. It's interesting to see all my fellow MUFC fans moaning, knowing that many of them will have voted Lib Dems in the local elections to kick out the Tories (who deserved kicking out, TBF). |
