But tbf it might have slightly desiccated the stones, which after this winter's weather is some achievement.
Yet the National Trust/English Heritage had to pay specialists to blow it off because of the harm it could do it they tried to wash it off, or if it rained. So that's less money spent on the environment - genius. Hope they get locked up.
