Is 25% not a bit rubbish considering that a) he can say what he likes b) he gets far more coverage than everyone else and c) and he's supposed to be this massive spanner in the works who is going to shake everything up? I don't think he will feel he performed very well, although he will say he did.
Climate Change Denyer probably had the best line of the night, although the whole thing was a bit of a waste of time. 07-06-2024, 11:26 PM in response to #52046 Leeds Sandgrounder Wrote: Is 25% not a bit rubbish considering that a) he can say what he likes b) he gets far more coverage than everyone else and c) and he's supposed to be this massive spanner in the works who is going to shake everything up? For me it will be a real disaster if Labour win a massive majority. We need strong opposition in this country. I just hope there is a “revolt” amongst Tory voters and Reform become the main opposition party. Imagine how entertaining PMQs would be if Farage was the leader of the opposition! Starmer would be phoning in sick every Wednesday. 07-06-2024, 11:34 PM in response to #52047 Pugwash Wrote: Nobody doubts Labour are going to win this election. It's why he only bobs back up the U-bend once in a while - every act has a shelf-life. He will rinse a few quid from the usual mugs and then fuck off again, like he always does. 08-06-2024, 05:54 AM in response to #52046 Leeds Sandgrounder Wrote: Is 25% not a bit rubbish considering that a) he can say what he likes b) he gets far more coverage than everyone else and c) and he's supposed to be this massive spanner in the works who is going to shake everything up? The UK needing a strong opposition is just a bollocks mantra that everyone repeats but doesn't know why. In my life the best government had a majority of more than 150 and the worst, most paralysed almost no majority at all. 08-06-2024, 06:54 AM in response to #52052 Leeds Sandgrounder Wrote: People will get fed up of his Trump bullshit and his easy answers. Rofl, he sees what the people see, and thinks what the people thiink. 'For he's a jolly good fellow'. But in all seriousness only him and Penny had anything about them on the debate, the rest appear to be deviants. 08-06-2024, 06:54 AM in response to #52059 08-06-2024, 06:58 AM in response to #52060 Greek Card Wrote: The UK needing a strong opposition is just a bollocks mantra that everyone repeats but doesn't know why.
