Poor sods. They've been brilliant last season too, only missing out on the play offs after a freakish run in from Charnock Richard.
They've worked incredibly hard building up a good support and a decent side only to no doubt see it disband when the lads see they'll be going to Newcastle every other week.
Pickering used to have a very competitive side until they were thrown in the NL for one season. All their best players left and they're still recovering now, only just avoiding relegation.
