This is where I start to come unstuck on it. Disabled people too.
I just can't see a way that is can be legislated for and thus offer the necessary protection.
Though in common with many on this thread, I think I'd like to have the option for myself.
There are huge and disturbing issues around disability as Liz Carr highlighted in her documentary screened earlier this week.
Whenever this topic comes up my mate puts a similarly eye-opening scenario, very different to that being pushed by the dementia / dignitas angle. Basically there is still a leaning towards not having disabled people about, and this ain't a conspiracy theory. My mate is an Autism expert in the field and adopted a Down's kid.
