It’s great having a pretend Green supporter on here.
This is obviously a disaster for Windermere, but feels a bit anecdoty. Our waters are apparently much cleaner overall than they were in the nineties and early noughties and I remember when I was young the Thames was classified as a dead river.
But it feels like there’s a load of investment needed. And given where interest rates have gone, I’m not sure this is best done through government ownership.
