I find your reverse ferret thinking on this strange, given that we were always a sovereign nation, yet you tried to pretend differently, just because the UK agreed to make compromises in return for other benefits.
However, on paper the UK has more control. The claims were that this would stop mass immigration, or had you forgotten that? The government constantly blames everyone else. The government you voted in, to stop mass immigration. Our only land border is open, or had you forgotten that? People that make it here from the EU could be returned, or had you forgotten that? A court has just ruled that people cannot be deported from Northern ireland to Rwanda due to the 'magnificent deal' made by your hero Johnson. As I keep pointing to it, there are constant claims that immigration is high because of the ECHR or 5th column activities or deep state or lefty lawyers or left wing stuff or wokerati. You claim that we will simply vote out the government because it isn't doing what we (or 37% of us) asked. You simultaneously claim that the left wing lunatics in the only other alternative will not control immigration.
None of the above looks like control, so while you preen yourself on your excellent victory, all I see is no more control on immigration (as especially evidenced by the figures) and lots more barriers to trade.
Can you just tell me where this control is coming from and when we might see it?
The claim was it would stop the only uncontrolled immigration - FoM from the EU.
Which it has done.
It could reduce overall numbers, as the UK government now has all the necessary powers, excluding interference from ECHR judges, and even then UKG can ignore that if Parliament so chooses.
