My understanding of the issue is that she's possibly made a mistake, that doesn't mean it's illegal but merely an error, but her initial statement on it was not very well handled. It all feels a typically shit and grubby play from a right wing press who have little to play with.
Can't remember who exactly (might be Tara) on here really doesn't like her - but she's grown on me. She's literally come from one of the most challenging backgrounds to be deputy leader of the opposition. If she's made a mistake, I assume she'll do the right thing and step down, but I imagine it's 99% Tory bollocks to try and distract from their shambles.
I see on Twitter that she's getting abuse from the momentum nutters. Add in a leader of the opposition who came from a working class background and I struggle to empathise with why they're so cross with Labour. Much better to have a leader born into privilege, who became a career politician, not having a proper job for 40 years and somehow alienated the Labour Party to most of the north of England.
