The Rev Rob SBFC Wrote: who is to blame for all this?
In this case it, was the woman in the chemist, who was non English and reasonably new as the place had changed management and brought in new staff, she said to come back Saturday morning for the prescription they were 9 days late dispensing, from there some blame falls on the dr's receptionist for not doing as I asked (asking duty gp for an emergency script which is the correct procedure) but she'll have had loads coming from next door to tell the chemist was closed.
Then some responsibility falls on the gp's mismanagement and issuing the wrong document though I'd created a fracas by bringing my bike in with me the 2nd time as I'd locked it 3 times on the wild goose chase the muppets sent me on, my 'fight or flight' mode doesn't work properly when my bloods drop and I can appear/can be unreasonable, to me bringing my bike in was reasonable as my bloods were dropping quickly and time to sort their error out was running short and staff were more bothered by my mountain bike than a Type 1 diabetic left without insulin due to a pharmacy cock up and a blood sugar of 3.5.
