Two things: 1) She could bully me every day of the week and twice on Sunday 2) You've posted this on the wrong thread https://www.theconferenceforum.co.uk/sho...p?tid=2186 06-06-2024, 12:16 PM in response to #50944
After posting a picture (and then a few days later, deleting it), it's looking increasingly likely that Labour have made an excellent choice to block this narcissistic.
She'll claim she's standing for disadvantaged people, Gaza etc.... but it's all about lining her own pocket (and helping IDS). The grounds for sacking Shaheen off look pretty tenuous to me. Much of it seems to be on the lines of liking dubious tweets in the past, and unconvincing claims about anti-semitism. She gave IDS a surprisingly good run for his money in Chingford and Woodford in the last GE, and will undoubtedly have retained a lot of local support. Standing as an independent, she will pick up a large number of votes that would otherwise enable Labour to win the seat. We shall see, but I think Starmer has himself in the foot here. |
