I'm struggling to think of a time when our keeper got his knees dirty. You were poor but we were ridiculously open to breaks when we gave the ball away (again and again). Fortunately your forwards spannered most of them fairly comically. It really did look like a relegation Joey off. I feel sorry for you watching in that ground. Functional is the most positive I can be. Are the local used bits of the city centre away from the tourists? Because those slow and randomly moving twats would drive me mental if I needed to get around. Queuing round the block for a tea room….in April FFS! 14-04-2024, 01:05 PM (This post was last modified: 14-04-2024, 01:06 PM by Shy Taz Effer (YCFC).) in response to #41138
Well, the 'functional' ground has seen average attendances for an awful relegation-threatened side actually increase not decrease as was anticipated, for two years running. This despite an awful home record. So, it must have something.
I mean, if you're moaning about the centre of York being poor for an awayer, then you clearly haven't done your research. There's pubs on every street in the city - unlike Woking - and some streets with pockets of quite a number of them. Tourists are the least of your worries. 14-04-2024, 02:04 PM in response to #41261 Shy Taz Effer (YCFC) Wrote: Well, the 'functional' ground has seen average attendances for an awful relegation-threatened side actually increase not decrease as was anticipated, for two years running. And this is April - must be horrible in August. |
