It is a bit more than "going less well than expected", it is an absolute fuck up. They kept mentioning "long term" viability in the article and whilst I hope the company survive and the staff keep their jobs; who is going to place an order with them with this still ongoing? 26-03-2024, 07:30 PM in response to #38674 26-03-2024, 07:38 PM in response to #38679 26-03-2024, 07:41 PM in response to #38677 Marked Ox Wrote: It is a bit more than "going less well than expected", it is an absolute fuck up. They utterly mugged themselves nationalising the yard, it’s doomed. Their recent defence policy paper is hilarious, I really hope they know it’s nonsense bordering on lies, but I’m not so sure any more. They still try to tell the Scottish people that the UK would carry on building warships in an independent Scotland FFS 26-03-2024, 11:46 PM in response to #38652 NWS Wrote: Your strange anger at the SNP is baffling. What will the Tories get seat-wise? 150? What does that make the Lib Dems with their 15 MPS if 150 makes the Tories extinct? Food for thought Desmond. Food for thought indeed. 27-03-2024, 09:50 AM in response to #38719 Shanghai Wrote: What will the Tories get seat-wise? 150? You appear to have compared the number of seats that the Tories might have following the General Election compared with the number of seats that the Lib Dems have now. Apples and oranges spring to mind. The GE may not kill off the Tories but it might deliver a blow to their bows which ultimately proves fatal. 27-03-2024, 10:00 AM in response to #38730 DesCartes Wrote: You appear to have compared the number of seats that the Tories might have following the General Election compared with the number of seats that the Lib Dems have now. I doubt it. We live in an age of volatility. After 2019 all the talk was after that trouncing and the daunting swing needed for victory, we were looking at at least another ten years of Tory government. |
