Just a boring match and a point closer to our promotion. 16-03-2024, 09:41 PM in response to #37386 Barnet Ben Wrote: By the way, Kabamba was onside you toolmaker's sons. That shows what? 16-03-2024, 09:49 PM in response to #37400 16-03-2024, 10:06 PM in response to #37394
Lost 4-1 away again this time to Dagenham must say we were particularly poor today.
Naming crocked players as Subs sums up what happens when you try to play with a small squad in a tough league with 24 teams competing. Will need to be a lot better next Saturday at Rochdale. We do miss Clerima when he does not play. Adams should have started today rather than an unwell Petit. 16-03-2024, 11:05 PM in response to #37394
HandY off as Plymouth Parkway have a permanent rain cloud hovering over anywhere they intend to play.

We're going down. Consecutive 4-1 away defeats at Fylde and D&R spell relegation. I'm amazed at the number of fans who seem to think we'll pick up the points (wins) required from our remaining games. Rochdale won 4-1 at Eastleigh today - I think there's more chance of them repeating that score line next Saturday than us getting a result there. Our records vs Aldershot, at Eastleigh, vs Barnet, and vs Gateshead are truly abysmal. Hartlepool at home is the one game I could see us possibly winning, but that will probably be too late. We'll be down before the final day, which is at the runaway league champions! (That'll be a fun fancy dress day. Not.) Back to playing the likes of Aveley, Chatham Town (!) and Sl*ugh next season. Sigh. The announcement of Dev's rumoured new contract - I suspect the club were planning to do it at the Q&A on Thursday, but that might be on hold now - is gonna go down like a lead balloon. 17-03-2024, 07:13 AM (This post was last modified: 17-03-2024, 07:14 AM by Chrismr.) in response to #37412 Lenny Baryea Wrote: We're going down. I think we may need at least 6 possibly 7 more points due to our poor goal difference to stay up. Think we will know our fate after Eastleigh game. Thursday night should be interesting and watching the 7 fit players training should be hilarious. Very disappointed with ANG and Magic Hat yesterday and starting Petit who apparently had been in his sick bed on Friday not understandable to me. 17-03-2024, 08:01 AM in response to #37394
Would be sorry to miss Maidned if, as expected, Sutton do come down, but we gave ourselves a dollop of hope by winning at FGR in the basement battle of the Steves (Cotterill v Morison). They've got a tough run-in, and some of you might want to start preparing for a vegan awayday next season. We also need to overhaul the Cowley-run Colchester who've got a shedload of games in hand, thanks to their soggy pitch.
