At least Truro to Taunton is one train journey of almost 3 hours station to station. But it will cost fans a small fortune to travel there. Touquay would have fans changing trains at Newton Abbot. A quicker journer and about a third of the price.
Looks like Welling will be off to Tonbridge Angels for a couple of seasons if the flats get built. This will probally see us back on this forum under the NEXT topic. Supporters Association hope to run coaches there but I cannot see many of our fans taking these up. I won’t travel much especially to evening games getting home around 23.30 10-02-2024, 09:09 AM in response to #32368 Squarevanmanmark2 Wrote: At least Truro to Taunton is one train journey of almost 3 hours station to station. For evening games make that an 8 hour train journey back. Today's game for Truro and their Tuesday home game are already postponed, leaving them still 12 home games in about 8 weeks, with the slight problem that Taunton have another 8 home games to play as well. On a waterlogged mud heap. As some of their scheduled home games clash with Taunton at home , then these will have to be postponed as well. Quite how the league agreed to this is beyond me. As a previous poster said surely there must be more local pitches that are a) not waterlogged and b) more available, after all it only needs a capacity of about 1,000. |
